When I was a little girl, I wanted to be the flower girl at every wedding that my family was invited to. I used to stare daggers at the little girl who actually was the flower girl. I don’t even think I noticed the page boy; he was just there. Now, as a wedding planner, all grown up, I find that my love for weddings has also grown up. I treasure the conceptualising to make a couple’s dreams come true. I treasure helping a couple navigate what’s important to them while considering each other’s feeling and their family traditions and expectations. Marriage is important to me, and I find that the wedding planning process can be a beautiful springboard into married life in terms of all the preparations and compromises that couples need to make together. Best of all, I no longer think the page boy (groom) is just there. I think grooms bring a great perspective to the planning process and make a wedding about two people instead of a girly affair.

I love everything that goes into successfully planning a wedding, but most of all, I love creating weddings that speak to the unique style of the couple. Guests should always walk into your wedding and say “Ohh wow, that’s so them!” I love helping couples think through and refine their concepts to achieve just this. From a couple who knows exactly what they want to a couple who has no clue – in this process, we will get to a concept that speaks to who you are as a couple.
